  I specially took two days to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city in Mentougou this time. I chose Beijing Dragon Spring Hotel, which is a long-standing garden style resort hotel in western Beijing. Originally, I just wanted to find a place to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city, but after staying for two nights, I truly felt it. It hides the core relaxation and comfort of vacation accommodation in every detail.
  I booked a garden view king size bed room. When checking in, the front desk learned that I was here to relax and unwind. They specially arranged a low area quiet room facing the inner lake, avoiding the side close to the main road. They also reminded me that it was cool by the lake at night and reminded me to close the terrace door. At the moment of opening the door, the tiredness of the journey disappeared: the space of 35 square meters was bright and transparent, the warm log decoration had no redundant fancy decoration, the whole french window was facing the Chinese garden of the hotel, the rockery, weeping willows and the koi on the lake could be seen from all sides, sitting on the leisure chair beside the window, making a cup of hot tea with you, and you could quietly watch the clouds floating on the lake without going out.
